Officials watch workers cut barbed wire to open a passage for Anchittha Chucheep and her twin children in Sikao district in Trang province. The students went to school that way until the two owners put up barbed wire before the new school year started, saying that some rubber sheets had been stolen. Seeing her children suffering from the blockade, Mrs Anchittha sought help from authorities in June to solve the dispute with the two land owners. The land owners could not be reached for comment. Mrs Anchittha said she would ask her lawyer to abandon a legal claim against the land owners.
